Do you have a story to share?
Did your rent increase after your landlord made necessary upgrades to your home? Did your landlord ignore you when you asked for repairs? We want to share your story, so we can help politicians and the media understand renters' experiences.
The more people who can speak up, the better we are able to relay the range of problems we experience as renters today – and press for strong legislation that fully delivers on renters’ rights.
So, if you have a story that you would be willing to share, please fill in the following form and we will get in touch if the right opportunity comes along. Any information shared through this form is confidential and would not be shared without your explicit consent. By sharing your phone and/or email you are consenting to being contacted by a member of our team – you can ask for these to be removed at any time.
You can also give us a short quote for us to share in the media, in research, or with politicians. For example, what would you say to the Prime Minister or the Housing Minister about your experience of renting? What do you think needs to change?
"Our landlord is putting our rent up by £200 a month which is completely unaffordable for us, and we can't find anywhere cheaper. We could end up becoming homeless. Does the Prime Minister think the housing crisis is over? The government need to do something."
By sharing a quote you agree that we may publish it with your first name and the area you live in. We will not share any further details like your address or contact info. We may correct typos or make edits to shorten your quote but will not change the meaning of it or put words in your mouth. You can ask us to stop sharing your quote at any time.
